The STE(A)M mission is to expand STEM education through arts immersion. STE(A)M stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—a powerful combination of topics and techniques for educating our society. STE(A)M educators are able to help people integrate STEM principles with the arts for a more holistic understanding of our world. The objectives of the STE(A)M movement were created to do the following: Transform research policy to place art and design at the center of STEM, Encourage integration of art and design in education, Influence employers to hire artists and designers to drive innovation.
The aim of this course is to let the teachers to apply easily those objectives in their own classrooms and become a successful STE(A)M teacher without no need to be an expert in science, technology or art. Here in this course, beside theorical research, our participants will also gain practical techniques about how to effectively apply STE(A)M into their classrooms with different instructional sources and activity examples. Also, they will have the change to observe and experience a STE(A)M class and see good examples in its place.
